What could a collapsible and sustainable Outdoor BBQ look like?
How can you fire a BBQ without the Coal?
Instead of having to collect twigs, compressed wood chips called briquettes, could be used. They burn longer and are made purely of wood and occasionaly natural resin.
Special briquettes would burn hot with the use of airflow in the BBQ.
-
Cold Air In
Cold air gets sucked in through the holes in the grates at the bottom.
-
Bring up the heat
The cone shape make the flames spiral upward increasing airflow and heat.
-
Get cookin'
Heat exits through the top grates where the food is being grilled.
-
Fire in the hole
for longer sessions, more briquettes or other wood can be added through the lid at the top.
